We are Niko and Karo, two siblings and a second generation of coffee growers. Our father, Octavio, started in the coffee business in the 90s. With Angela’s, our mother, constant support, he built JULIA, our farm. We started specialty coffee production in 2002 with the Tabi Indio. Then Niko began with Java because he was looking for rare and exotic varietals hard to find in Colombia. We planted Java, Tabi Co. and Geisha in mid 2015 and started the first cherry picking in March-April of 2017.

Rainforest Alliance. At JULIA we are convinced that the only way to produce great coffee is by respecting our land. Women at JULIA. We believe in diversity, inclusion, and opportunity. Women are great contributors to the wonderful coffee that we produce at JULIA.
