What's new at Coffee Exchange this month from the tech side? As our Producer Platform has been developed and offers comprehensive tools for traceability, marketing, financial and warehouse information, the other side of our marketplace is also ramping up.

As you know, our sales platform in developed in WeChat (what's WeChat?, learn more here) where now roasters can buy specialty green coffee with just one click. Besides price information, available quantity and farm info, roaster can now have more information about biometrics of the coffees.

What are biometrics? We define them as the measure of water content, moisture, screen size and shape, and defects rate for a sampled coffee. This is important for roasters because of helps them to decide which coffees suits better their requirements, and to have more information and achieve better results and cups when they roast.

What's next? For our producer platform, soon producers will have direct access to edit their coffees. Nowadays, the platform offers the option to edit the farms but not the selected lots. In addition, we always fix bugs and improve our workflows to offer a better platform.
